I’ve been blessed with finding the perfect place to work; it’s at a quilt/bead store. I’m surrounded by the most inspiring people. When I first started there (almost two years ago), I was warned about getting bitten by the beading bug. Boy, they weren’t lying!!! I got into making bead crochet bracelets.
Bead crochet is such a zen-like activity! I’ve made a bundle of bead crochet bracelets. They are easy to make, and you feel like you are accomplished with a project in a short amount of time.
Here is a great video that shows how to make bead crochet bracelets.

Play around with bead combinations to make your own design.
Here is a Seahawks colored bead crochet bracelet – Go Hawks! Like the wave design on these bracelets? You can find the directions in Crafting Conundrums: Puzzles and Patterns for the Bead Crochet Artist.

Here are two more finished beaded crochet bracelets. I like the randomness of the bead color placement – adds movement to the bracelet.

Gather up some beads, a crochet hook, and pearl cotton and get into your Zen and start making some bracelets!
This technique is also great for making a beaded rope to highlight a special focal piece for a necklace. You can either crochet the ends together like the examples above, or just a jewelry glue like E6000 to finish the ends of a bracelet or necklace with findings. Just have fun with your beads and crochet hook!
