Reggae Skull

Halloweenby Reggae Skull

Sometimes these things just sort of happen. You find a fake skull with articulating jaw and have a fake boar tongue from a taxidermy form. Then you pull out some ugly tasseled bullion fringe and low and behold you get a really funky and awesome Halloween decoration, like this Reggae Skull!

It’s super easy to make, once you gather all the parts. You may want to create several to grace your haunted house or to add to your front porch decorations. Or place one of these guys in each window with some LED lights – maybe even lights in the eye sockets!

You can glue all the parts together to reuse Mr. Reggae Skull from year to year, or you can just balance the parts on each other and store the parts separately. After all, you may want to use that fringe to trim a throw pillow.

Materials needed to make a Reggae skull

  • Fake skull with articulating jaw
  • Fake boar tongue (or other large fake tongue)
  • Tasseled bullion fringe, or other fringe trim
  • LED lights (Optional)

Tools needed to make a Reggae skull

  • Glue gun and glue sticks

The fringe trim is waiting for you in your nearby fabric or home dec store (or your stash) – or, again, online shopping!
