A strand of graduated beads becomes a beautiful turquoise necklace with the addition of seed bead spacers. Easy stringing techniques make an elegant piece.
I purchased these amazing turquoise beads at Bead It in Austin Texas as a extra little present to me for my birthday last year. I loved the graduated sizes of the stones. According to the staff, this set of stones are old, and they matched so nicely to make this turquoise necklace.
I wanted to allow the beads to lay fairly flat, but didn’t want the necklace to be too long. I settled on adding between 3 and 5 small beads between each of the turquoise. I used agate seed beads and some turquoise seed beads.
