Travel is a great source of creative inspiration. Seek out museums, galleries, exhibitions, street scenes, fabulous architecture and natural wonders wherever you go. Take photographs (where allowed). Keep a journal. Then use those sparks in your work when you return to your studio. Browsing through local quilting, sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, weaving, beading and paper craft shops can also give you ideas for a new project.
