Easy to Make Fall Cards
If you follow my other stories and projects, you’ll already know that I am having fun making cards – the traditional, old school kind that you actually give people or put in snail mail. My favorite store is the local dollar store, where I can get supplies really cheap and makes me be more creative. Here are easy to make fall cards that use some loose fall leaves, some raffia and note cards.
I had these brown and white cards in my stash that I had picked up on a prior visit to the dollar store. I found these leaves at the dollar store, too. But if you have maple trees that are turning colors in your yard, feel free to use real leaves!
I thought it might be interesting enough to just put the leaf on the card, and it needed something.

Kinda boring . . needs something!
I tried two smaller leaves, and didn’t like it either.
Hmm – not working so well . . . needs something.
I worked on some other projects and saw the rafia in my pile of stuff to make cards and thought that could add some visual interest.
Here are the finished cards with single leaves and some raffia! I think the rafia just finished these easy fall cards off perfectly!
Can’t wait to send them and wish some of my friends a happy fall!
