Ginny

Ginny

Missouri City, TX

My first craft was cross stitching. With experience, I started doing more counted cross stitch. This allows me to create what ever I want. You will also see some beginner wood projects. I am trying to learn a few things on my own and with the help of the Internet.

And, a little more about Ginny  . . .

What kinds of creative projects are your favorite?

I’m projects seem to change with the wind.  Sometimes I like to cross stitch and other times I refresh furniture to bring it to life again.  Of course there are those that would say my favorite thing to do is to buy a house and update it. Ha. Ha.

I also enjoy decorating cakes and cupcakes.

When is your most productive time for creating?

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Read more about our affiliate linking policy.

I tackle my larger projects in the summer, as I am a teacher.  I can set it up and work on it everyday to get it done.  Smaller projects I work on in the evenings or weekends.

What is your favorite storage tip for your creative supplies?

I am not sure I have any wonderful ideas.  I tend to use storage boxes that I label and keep things organized by type of craft.

When you are in your creative mood, do you listen to music, watch tv or do you prefer a quiet spot? If it is music, what types do you listen to? If watching TV, what kinds of shows?

I don’t have something special for my mood.  When a project strikes me, I just go for it.  Sometimes the TV is on (usually on HGTV) or it is just quiet.  I enjoy quiet time and listening to nature when I am in the garage working on furniture.
