Great Gift Ideas for Quilters
Some of our favorite 'nice-to-have's' in our quilting studios that make our quilting projects easier.
Yes, these really are the perfect scissors! Super sharp and perfect for cutting out applique, working on EPP or any other small hand projects.
Looking to get your seams pressed nice and flat? A clapper helps you do just that! Press your seam with lots of seam, lay the clapper on top and the seam stays nice and pressed! Pair the clapper with the wool mat below!
Did someone say cordless? Know how you are working on a project and need a little press. Now you don't need to go to the ironing board to give it a little zap - you can bring the iron to you! Just make sure you have a heat resistant base before you press.
Using a wool ironing pad when you are pressing keeps your fabric stable while you are pressing, and the pad retains heat for a professional pressing experience. Couple this with a clapper and your seams will be pressed beautifully!
Do your rulers slip around when you are trying to get precise cuts with your rotary cutter? Add these non-slip grips to the back side of your rulers and they stay in place while you are cutting!
Keep your pins right with you with this magnetic wrist pincushion! No more fumbling around trying to hold something in place and trying to find your pin box - your pins are with you!
Wonder clips are perfect for so many quilting projects - from English Paper Piecing to holding groups of specially cut pieces together.
Rotate the mat instead of repositioning your fabric while making multiple cuts on pieces. This improves accuracy of cuts and piecing.
Looking for the perfect thread for piecing? This is it! The light dove grey blends with most colors and prints.
Now you can cut directly on your light board. Perfect for paper piecing and appliqué projects. Place your pattern under the mat to see through your fabrics and trim your pieces with super accuracy.
