Polymer Clay Bracelets
I love to play with clay, of the polymer sort. Here I’ve tried to recreate faux ebony and ivory with a flavor of Hawai`i in the etching and sculpting of these polymer clay bracelets.
Love accessories? Using polymer clay to make your own bracelets, you can have fun with different designs and colors. Layer your arm with your own creations. Have fun with different textures and techniques to make custom polymer clay bracelets.
Add a little paint to highlight the textures you carve into the bracelets.
Start by rolling out the polymer clay – not too thin. Cut a strip and make it into a bracelet to fit your wrist. Use different tools to make different textures. Have fun with the design! You can see I did some with flower motifs, and others with lines and dots. You can etch the design into the clay, or cut out little pieces and connect to the bracelet. If you can imagine the design, you can make it in polymer clay! I like making them look like beautiful and expensive ivory and ebony.
Bake your polymer clay, and then use some paint to highlight the texture!
Make them skinny or wide — mix them up and accessorize!
