There is nothing like a craft project to keep fingers busy and minds occupied. Besides, creativity is an important skill to be nurtured and encouraged. With that in mind, as I prepared for a visit from our three grands (and their parents), I knew we needed something to do. But what? They are ages 15, 10, and 5, so the project needed to have various entry points and means of success. After much thought, I decided that one never has too many boxes to stash stuff or collect treasures. Box craft is a fun project and can be as simple and quick or complicated and long as you wish.
Simply buy or find boxes and collect a variety of materials with which to decorate.
My boxes came from the local craft store (on sale) because I wanted something similar for each grand. You could recycle something from home.

Gather materials- fabric, ribbon, stickers, markers, crayons, glue and scissors-what ever you have to spark creativity and give the box the personality and flair of the maker.
Watch the magic occur! Sometimes a snack is needed too!
So find some boxes, get creative and have some fun. Pretty boxes help organize things and makes cleaning your room so much easier. Box craft is a great project for a hot summer afternoon when even the pool seems like too much heat! Enjoy!
