I really like to create birthday cards for my family and friends. I find it really fun and it’s much more personal than just buying a card.
I did something similar for my father last year. Although he passed away two years ago, I wanted to remember him on his birthday and created him a birthday card in his memory.
My inspiration was an owl, which was one of his favorites animals. This is the final result:

Last year I wanted to create another birthday card for my mom, I didn’t know what theme to use on her card. So I took a look at my sticker stash and found this little guy. Right away I knew I wanted to use it for inspiration!
So I started…!
Took my card board paper, created the little hedgehog and transformed it into a girl with a hair bow.
Added some extra items to the card, like grass, a branch with its leaves and flowers and put something extra to the hedgehog… a little heart.
At the end I wanted to enhance some parts of the card by adding a little bit of glitter to the heart, the hair bow and the flowers.

And last month I created one birthday card for my husband’s best friend. I didn’t want this card to be cute, like the ones I did for my parents. I wanted to create something a little bit funny. This is the result:
