Knitting

Knitting

Knitting techniques vary from simple stitches to complex cable and lace patterns to make hats, blankets, scarves and more! Knitting is done on needles where loops are made to interlock the yarn to make fabric or a textile. The loops are referred to as stitches, and the needles can be one continuous needle, two needles or to knit socks, multiple needles.

Knitting is generally used to make hats, sweaters, socks, gloves and other garments. Browse through the knitting projects and inspiration from some of our Spotlight artists who knit.
